About

I design complex products, build the systems behind them, and help teams turn new technology into useful experiences.

I’m a product design leader at an enterprise SaaS company, where I lead design for a complex operational platform. Since 2021, I’ve introduced design as a formal function, built the platform’s web design system from zero, established the foundation for a separate native design system, designed the platform’s AI context layer, and led design for complex workflows and data-heavy interfaces.

Before moving into UI/UX in 2019, I spent nearly a decade in corporate communications at the National Bank of Moldova, finishing as interim head of communications. I still bring that discipline to design: clear language, high standards, and work people can trust.

Today I lead UI/UX across the company, working hand in hand with engineering and QA through delivery. As a manager, I’ve led a small team of designers, from setting direction and reviewing work to coaching their growth. I care about the conditions for good design: clear thinking, strong collaboration with Product and Engineering, reusable systems, and designers who own meaningful work.

How I lead

Decisions in the open

I run design reviews with product owners, engineers, and sometimes clients, and regular critiques with my team, so decisions are made together and early.

Feedback through questions

I give feedback by asking questions and challenging assumptions, so designers reach the stronger answer themselves rather than being told what’s wrong.

Growing designers

I grew a designer to a senior level, coaching her through building a design system and advanced Figma work like variables. When someone struggles, I step in with coaching, co-design sessions, and resources.

Partnering across the product

Product owners treat me as a partner on scope and UX decisions. I involve engineers before, during, and after design, support design QA through delivery, and established our design-to-engineering handoff practices.

How I work

Clarity over complexity

Complex products don’t have to feel complicated. I look for the underlying mental model and design around it.

Systems over one-offs

The best solution makes the next one easier. I think in patterns and foundations that scale across products.

Useful innovation

New technology earns its place by improving real work. With AI, I focus on where it genuinely helps.

Design with people

I bring design into conversations with Product, Engineering, and leadership early, when decisions are still open.
